My LiveChat is a fast, high performance and most user-friendly live chat solution.
It allows you to live chat with website visitors, monitor site traffic, and analyze
visitors' web activities, including their search engine and keyword usage.
This tutorial is designed for Moodle 1.9. For Moodle other versions, please check 2.x
Step 1. Install My Live Chat Plugin
To display LiveChat button on Moodle, download the Live Chat Plugin first. Then upload 'mylivechat' directory to Moodle blocks
Step 2. Activate My Live Chat Plugin
Now open your Moodle website. Visit the Notifications page "Site Administration ->
Notifications" and you will find "MyLiveChat", then click Continue.
Step 3. Add "MyLiveChat" block
Click the Moodle menu on the top left of page, click the "Turn editing on"
button on the top right of page, find Add a block and select MyLiveChat.
Step 4. Config My LiveChat settings
Click the Configuration image icon in MyLiveChat block. You need to:
- Input MyLiveChat ID or create a free MyLiveChat account (if you are a new mylivechat
- Click the "Save Change" button
- Click the "Turn editing off" button on the top right of page
To start chatting with your customers, install desktop agent console or use web agent console.
